Tommy Simon is a business development strategist and speaker on sales, entrepreneurship, and outsourcing. He is a seasoned CEO, CRO, board member, and investor, known for driving growth and building high-performing go-to-market teams. Tommy founded Axsys.AI to create practical AI solutions that help organizations innovate, improve performance, and solve real business problems. Previously, he helped scale TEAM International from $11M to $50M+ in six years and held leadership roles including CEO of Care Analytics, President of TEAM RPA, Chief Strategy Officer, and Global Head of Strategic Accounts. He has also founded and exited multiple ventures, including Xcelligent, and is a founding investor of SeedFunders. At Axsys.AI, Tommy leads sales and growth—working with clients to identify high-impact AI opportunities and translate them into clear business outcomes.

Michael Pilnick is a commercially focused global HR executive known for building people and talent strategies that support growth and increase enterprise value. He has led HR across Fortune 500 companies, consultancies, and private equity-backed businesses from startup and carveout through sale and IPO. Michael spent 12 years as EVP and Global CHRO at First Advantage, helping guide major growth and transformation, including the company’s sale to Silver Lake and its successful IPO. He’s known for AI-first strategy, M&A execution, and turnaround leadership—helping convert underperforming businesses into profitable, growth-focused operations. Previously, he led SaaS acquisitions and turnarounds as CEO of Skyvera, increased ARR at Luminoso while significantly reducing burn, and launched new products at Rackspace that drove strong sales growth. Growth-focused operating executive with 20+ years of experience building, scaling, and transacting technology and services businesses across private equity-backed and enterprise environments.
My career has centered around helping companies accelerate revenue growth, improve EBITDA, professionalize go-to-market operations, and position organizations for strategic transactions. I’ve led businesses from inception through scale and ultimately to successful exits through a combination of commercial strategy, operational execution, strategic partnerships, and transformation leadership.
I was a Founding Partner of the Business Transformation practice at CFGI, a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group and CVC Capital Partners, where we scaled the practice to more than 140 professionals within four years. During that time, I partnered with private equity firms and portfolio companies across both public and private markets to execute transformation and value creation initiatives. I also served as a member of the Carlyle North America CIO Advisory Board. Previously, at Arrow Digital, I helped build, operationalize, and scale the organization as part of the executive leadership team. I was also a member of the deal team that helped position the company for acquisition by Cognizant through strong growth and EBITDA performance. Today, my focus is helping organizations leverage AI, automation, and modern go-to-market strategies to drive scalable growth and operational efficiency within PE-backed and technology-enabled businesses
